Just days after Iran released two Americans accused of spying, an Iranian court has upheld the apostasy conviction and executionsentence of Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani.
Pastor Youcef will be brought to the court for one final “hearing” on September 28th for the sole purpose of being called upon to recant his Christian faith. The ACLJ’s sources report that although Pastor Youcef’s attorneys will attempt to appeal the case, there is no guarantee that the provincial court will not act on its own interpretation of Sharia law and execute pastor Youcef as early as Wednesday.
Yesterday, Firouz Sadegh-Khandjani, a Member of the Council of Elders for the Church of Iran and a close personal friend of Youcef, called into my radio show from Iran to provide an update on Pastor Youcef. You can listen to the interview here.

Please don’t execute this pastor who was only standing up for what he believed. If he is executed, it will send a message to the world that muslim, and the islamic religion and the government of Iran are not peacefull as they claim. Think about the message that is being sent, because the world is watching.

What?!?! Do you mean to tell me that this religion made popular by telling people to convert or they will be killed is not allowing anyone to have religious freedom? Say it isn’t so, this must be a false report. Sorry, I don’t believe a statistic from that country where 98%of the country practices Islam, no they say they do so they don’t get their heads cut off while being called infidel and having their property confiscated and family members tortured….all hail Muhammed!

Let the man go, God gave us our freedoms, no man should be allowed to take that away…not even Muhammed, or some fanatic that tells you to renounce God and praise a man over him. Look at it this way, sometimes people have to die for their beliefs before the people of the world step up and force the tyrants to stop. Sad but true. I pray he is released and learns the lesson that you can not force people who are that intolerate to accept tolerance. If you want examples, look at the region he is in…arresting hikers and claiming they are spies? Hope he makes it out alive.
